CWA 10th Annual Conference – Call for Abstracts

**CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS** Submission deadline 25th April 2014

The next CWA Conference will be held in Manchester in conjunction with the European Wastewater Management Conference on 7 – 8 October.

We are inviting presentations on the following themes:

Run-off

Sewage Treatment

Emerging Pollutants

Agriculture

Natural and constructed wetlands play an important role in the treatment, management and control of water pollution, in the mitigation and treatment of run-off and in the retention of floodwaters.  By integrating these different fields, solutions can frequently deliver additional ecosystem service benefits such as carbon storage, urban cooling, nutrient cycling and recreation amongst others. Innovative design can ensure these systems maximise biodiversity whilst providing blue and green spaces that contribute to human well-being.

 

Submitting an Abstract 

If you are interested in contributing to this event, please submit your abstract to franceswoodhead@aquaenviro.co.uk by the 25th April 2014.

Please ensure you include the following:

The title of your presentation

A summary of your contribution (150 words)

Names and company details of all authors

Full contact details for corresponding author

Submitting a Poster 
There will be a prize for the best student poster. Your poster should demonstrate your research on a wetland related topic. If you would like to submit a poster, please email franceswoodhead@aquaenviro.co.uk to register your submission, clearly stating it is for a poster.
